Oh, the Places You’ll Go!

The Art Institute of Chicago is free on weekdays for Illinois residents until February 15!

Today we’re going to talk about how to leave the house, where to go, and what we do when we get there! Share your pep talks, favorite winter haunts, and gendered expectations (or lack thereof) to keep a lookout for.

P.S. January 31st will be Open Topic: Blanket Fort Edition. We’ll also meet every Wednesday before then, but that’s definitely when that topic is happening.

Wednesday, January 10th, 7:00pm to 9 pm
Center on Halsted, 2nd Floor (Room 202, let the people at the desk on the 2nd floor know you are there for GQC and they will buzz you in)
3656 N. Halsted St.

Room Note:

There is a chance that we will be in a different (bigger) room this year. Please keep your eyes peeled for updates or you can message our GQC number at: 773-977-8765 where one of our moderators will be able to update you. Thank you for your patience.

Genderqueer Chicago is as safe a space as we can make it. To help with this, we have some working agreements that we would like all who come to meetings to keep in mind while within our safe space meetings. Please check out our working agreementsĀ here.
Safe space meetings are strictly closed to researchers and reporters in their professional capacities. Meetings are open to anyone else wanting to talk and think about gender! For more info, give us a shout at genderqueerchicago@gmail.com!
